Easter Tablescape Ideas | Hosting Easter Brunch
Let’s start with decorating the table and creating a colorful, Spring inspired Easter table with lots of green touches throughout.
I’m loving the pops of color and Spring vibes for the Easter table this year, with lots of green. From the green checkered tablecloth to colorful glassware and happy napkin and plate prints, this table decorating idea makes your space instantly happy.
Tips for Hosting Easter in Your Home without The Stress
- If you’re having a big Easter brunch celebration and expecting a lot of people, I suggest opting for elevated one time use plates and cutlery. I’ve used this set many times and it makes clean up a breeze, while still allowing you to have a beautiful Easter table.
- Decorate with flowers and few trinkets. I always make a few bouquets from Trader Joe’s and keep the decor simple and minimal. It’s inexpensive and instantly transforms your space.
- Stock up on bathroom essentials. I always add my favorite air freshener, extra toilet paper and plenty of towels.
Have a Cocktail Station
- One of the easiest things you can do is point guests to a self-serve bar.
- For Easter Brunch you can serve Bloody Mary with garnishes on the side and instructions for how to make their drink.
- You can also have a self-serve mimosa champagne station with a variety of juices. I love making an ice bucket mold for get togethers that functions as a decor and keeps the bottles cold.
Serve Easter Brunch Buffet Style with Easy Recipes
- To make Easter Brunch easy on yourself, opt for make ahead recipes you can have ready when guests arrive.
- Serve food buffet style so guests are able to serve themselves
Make it Fun for the Kids
For the last few years I’ve purchased a scavenger hunt for the kids to find their baskets and it has always been a hit.
It creates a fun activity for them and the premade scavenger hunt makes it easy for me. Total win/win. [ Kids scavenger hunt]
Another fun activity we have planned is blowing up our own small jumper we purchased via Amazon.
Great way to get the kids’ energy out and a fun activity. One of my favorite investments we’ve made. [ Bounce House]
What to Serve at Your Easter Brunch Buffet
As I mentioned, I opt for buffet style dining when hosting brunch, especially with small kids. I love displaying everything for guests to choose themselves.
Here are some make ahead brunch ideas I’ve made:
Self Serve Bagel Station
One of my favorite items to include for a morning gathering is a bagel platter. I’ve done something similar in the past. [ Breakfast Charcuterie Board]
A self-serve bagel station with all the fixings such as lox, bagels, capers, tomatoes and cream cheese. I also like to add a jam, for those who prefer a savory bagel instead of a sweet one.
Deviled Eggs
I typically use this recipe to make deviled eggs, and this year I’m also going to top them with caviar.
Caviar is having a huge moment right now and I love how more people are trying it and incorporating it into their gatherings.
Quiche Party
One of my favorite easy breakfast ideas when feeding lots of people is to make a quiche (or two). I typically use store bought crust and load it up with veggies for a pretty and delicious breakfast pie. Here is a great recipe to follow.
Chocolate Chip Muffins
If you haven’t tried the muffins from Trader Joe’s you are seriously missing out. My kids prefer them to almost anything else and every time I purchase them at the store a strangers or the check out person nods in approval. They’re easy and delicious. And less stress to make things from scratch.
French Toast Bake
However, I did see this recipe and wanted to try it out this year. You can prep everything overnight and just throw things in the oven. [ Overnight French Toast Recipe]
