Turkey Patties with Zucchini
These baked turkey patties with zucchini are about to become your weekly easy dinner or lunch go-to. Serve them up with a big salad or your favorite grain or pasta.
In Russian cuisine these turkey patties are called Katletas or kotleti. Traditionally, these meat patties are fried on a skillet, but we make them healthier by baking them.

Usually katletas are made with a few spices, onion, breading and egg. But, the addition of the zucchini helps make these patties soft and tender that you won’t miss the breading or egg. This also makes this recipe Paleo friendly, and a great low-carb option.
So, we add the zucchini, onion a few spices and that’s it. I also like serving these up with a homemade dressing.
It’s completely unnecessary but if you wanted to make the avocado cilantro dressing for these turkey patties with zucchini it only takes a few minutes that are well worth it.
Also, since we bake these the end result can make these patties look pale. So we glaze them up and they get that pretty golden color at the end. This also helps fool everyone into thinking you fried them like a traditional kotleti.
I make a simple glaze of ketchup, honey and a little hot sauce for additional flavor, similar to my mini meatloaf recipe.
